We’ve got some exciting news. A group of distinguished energy leaders from around the world selected HiberHilo as a finalist of ADIPEC’s ‘Oil and gas startup of the year’ award. There were over 1000 submissions from companies all over the planet. So it means a lot to be selected as one of three finalists.
The startup category at ADIPEC means to shine a light on the small companies that represent big potential for the industry. The ones that bring new ideas and new insights to the table. And who push the boundaries of what’s possible.
In our case, we entered with our story about Shell, who tested the HiberHilo solution against an existing wired solution and found that it was not only easy to install and set up, but also reliable and accurate. When compared to the wired solution, HiberHilo was 99.75% accurate, and had an uptime of 99.8%. Pretty impressive for a solution that can work on any platform, anywhere on the planet, at any time. No matter how remote. The success of this project led Shell to start rolling our HiberHilo throughout its operations worldwide. The first step of this operation was to sign a global framework contract. HiberHilo has now been implemented by three of the world’s supermajors and a number of independent companies, being installed in the USA, the UK, the Netherlands, Italy, the UAE, Nigeria, Malaysia, and Papua New Guinea.
Past winners of the award include Xsens AS, a company that lets oil and gas operations measure oil, gas, water, and water cut at accuracies never before seen from clamp-on technologies. This year, we were evaluated against Energy Robotics, which makes autonomous robotic inspection solutions, and, a leak detection company.
We’re honored to have been selected as a finalist for this prestigious award. And that our easy-to-install, easy-to-use well and pipeline monitoring solution stands out. Congrats to SeekOps, the winner in the category. And a big ‘thanks’ to ADIPEC!
